Sri Suktam Path, also known as Sri Sukta and Lakshmi Suktam according to Rig Veda, is a devotional hymn in online temple services, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. She is a prominent Hindu Goddess of wealth, prosperity, fertility and riches.
Reciting the Sri Suktam Path is one of the best and most effective ways to invoke and worship her. It is considered that reciting the 15 verses of this Sri Suktam Path in front of a Shree Yantra will get rid of all poverty plaguing the devotees.
Lakshmi is also known as Sri and is a part of the Tridevi including Parvati and Saraswati. Sri means the personification of providential personas. Devotees perform this powerful Vedic hymn for good luck, peace and prosperity, and it is especially chanted on Fridays with a formal worship of goddess Lakshmi puja.
Religious devotees believe that doing such online puja rituals will bless them with success, wealth, affluence and peace. Sri Suktam uses the motifs of Lotus (Kamal/ Padma) and Elephant (Gaj), symbols that are usually linked with Goddess Lakshmi consistently.
